Vision

Stronger chapters.
Stronger districts.
stronger region.

A clear path forward for Alpha Phi Alpha's future in the Eastern Region.

Pillars

Three foundations for growth

Here's how we plan to strengthen our region:

Structure

Supporting our Chapters

During my time serving as Assistant District Director, I established monthly presidents meetings that strengthened communication, accountability, and collaboration across college chapters. These meetings created space for goal setting, problem solving, and celebrating successes across the district. I also supported the chartering of the Phi Chi Chapter at Stevenson University, gaining firsthand experience working with developing chapters and understanding what sustainable growth requires.
As Eastern Region Assistant Vice President, I will expand this work region-wide by implementing a Chapter Support Eligibility Index to identify chapters that would benefit from targeted mentorship, programming partnerships, leadership transition support, and expansion-readiness planning.
Through this initiative, I will:
- Establish Eastern Region College Presidents Roundtables
- Strengthen leadership transition support across chapters
- Encourage collaboration between strong and developing chapters
- Share successful programming models regionally.
Structure creates sustainability. Sustainability builds legacy.

Retention

COLLEGE AND ALUMNI COLLABORATION

Retention is one of the most important responsibilities of college brother leadership—and it begins before graduation, not after it.

Through my service as Chapter President and Assistant District Director, I saw how intentional collaboration between college and alumni brothers strengthens engagement and prepares graduating seniors to remain active in Alpha beyond their undergraduate years.

As Eastern Region Assistant Vice President, I will strengthen the college-to-alumni transition pipeline by:

- Encouraging structured introductions between graduating seniors and local alumni chapters
- Supporting joint programming between college and alumni brothers
- Promoting alumni mentorship engagement with undergraduate brothers
- Encouraging district-level transition tracking of graduating seniors

When college and alumni brothers collaborate intentionally, retention improves naturally, and our region becomes stronger because of it

Opportunity

stimulate the ambition of our members

One of the objectives of our great fraternity is stimulating the ambition of its members. I believe the Eastern Region should play a direct role in helping college brothers access professional opportunity through Alpha.Through my leadership at the chapter, district, and regional levels, I have worked to strengthen structure and expand engagement. As Eastern Region Assistant Vice President, I will focus on increasing access to career pathways, alumni mentorship, and leadership development opportunities across the region.
Specifically, I will advocate for:
- Career networking opportunities at regional conventions
- Alumni-led professional development workshops
- Increased support for brothers attending career fairs and conferences
- Stronger internship and mentorship pipelines through alumni engagement
- Leadership preparation for future district and regional officers
Alpha should not only shape our character, it should expand our opportunities.
